Some utility providers will permit ownership changes prior to closing. Be ready to provide proof of ownership. Proof of ownership could be obtained during settlement or from your Realtor.

Submit a change of address request with the United States Post Office.

Change Exterior Locks and Pass-codes

Prior to purchasing your home multiple people have had access to your home. For you and your family's safety its best to change the locks and/or pass-codes.
